Hockey is Big Here

Hockey is big here at the Manchester Ice and Event Centre. The rink hosts adult leagues and clubs, the McCall Youth Hockey, StiknPucks, and Drop-ins. As well, MIEC hosts many adult and youth hockey tournaments throughout the season. Most clubs are active October-March, with a few that play all year.

Are you a Beginner?

Watch for Hockey 101 each September, as the season gets going. This is the perfect class for those that want to play, but have never put on gear.

MYHA and MIEC host several camps and mini-camps throughout the season and summer. Our most popular camp is Rocky Mountain Hockey School, in late July.

RMHS has been with us for over 10 years! Brian can be reached at www.RMHShockey.com

Drop-in, or “pick up” hockey is scheduled throughout the year. We schedule lots of Drop-ins weeknights and weekends spring through fall.

  • MUST be 14 or over to participate in an adult session.
  • If under 18, must be accompanied by parent or designated guardian.
  • Full gear required
  • Players participate at their own risk
  • $10 per session
  • Sign-in up front prior to session

Ask about Drop-in and S&P punch cards!!

StiknPuck is more like “open gym”, than a game. Participants are not required to wear full gear (adults), and sessions are geared to families. MIEC provides pucks.

As with Drop-in, we schedule lots of sessions spring through fall.

  • Participate at your own risk
  • Sign in up front prior to session
  • $8 per session

Ask about S&P and Drop-in punch cards!!

Watch for information on Sept/Oct weekday evening class that will start Sept 10th or 11th. This is the right class for beginners, and designed to get you ready for club hockey or Co-ed Winter League.
