The McCall Curling Club has been in existence for 15 years. As with the majority of our programs here at MIEC, the focus is on participation and fun!

Manchester Ice & Event Centre is home to The McCall Curling Club and one of the sponsors of the club’s popular annual bonspiel (tournament). Rocktoberspiel is held the first full weekend of October and has attracted teams from Idaho, Arizona, Utah, California, Oregon, Washington and Canada. The 2018 event was MCC’s 14th annual. The adult club plays league matches on Sunday evenings November through March.

During November 2003, the USCA (United States Curling Association) arrived in McCall and sponsored a “Learn to Curl” clinic. There was such a fantastic response from participants that they continued with two more sessions.  After purchasing stones, hacks, and curling equipment the group formed a Board of Directors and the McCall Curling Club (MCC) was established in January 2004. We are a 501©(3) non-profit organization. The Club started with 40 members and the first winter league was a great success.
